Founded in 2000, KeyFort Ltd was established to provide reliable, professional IT support at a time when technology was becoming increasingly central to how businesses operate. From the very beginning, the focus was on building long-term relationships, delivering dependable service, and offering clear, honest advice.

Over the years, KeyFort became a trusted B2B IT partner for organisations across a wide range of sectors. That reputation, built through consistency and commitment over more than 20 years, remains at the core of everything we do today.

A New Direction

In 2023, the business entered a new phase with the appointment of a new Managing Director. This marked a pivotal moment in our journey and signalled a shift towards a more strategic approach to growth.

The aim was not to change what had made KeyFort successful, but to build on those strong foundations. The focus turned to modernising how we operate, expanding our capabilities, and ensuring we were well positioned to support businesses in an increasingly complex and fast-moving technology landscape.

Moving Into a Growth Phase

Following this transition, the business began to accelerate. Investment was made into systems, services, and the team itself, creating a stronger platform for future growth.

This period was about more than just expansion. It was about refining how we deliver our services, improving the customer experience, and ensuring we could scale effectively while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. It also laid the groundwork for broader opportunities beyond traditional managed IT services.

The Acquisition of Fusion WiFi

A significant milestone came in late 2024 with the acquisition of Fusion WiFi. This marked a natural progression in our journey, bringing together two businesses that shared a common approach to technology, service, and innovation.

Fusion WiFi added a new dimension to our offering, with specialist expertise in public WiFi, event connectivity, and off-grid networking solutions. The acquisition allowed us to expand into new areas while utilising the strength and experience of the existing team. It created an opportunity to deliver more comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to our clients.

Integration and Alignment

Throughout 2025, our focus was on integrating the two businesses and defining a clear direction for the future. This involved aligning our services, bringing teams together, and ensuring a consistent approach to delivery across both organisations.

At the same time, it was important to maintain clarity in what each part of the business represents. Fusion Tech focuses on managed IT services, consultancy, and core business infrastructure, while Fusion WiFi specialises in connectivity and wireless solutions.

This structure allows us to offer highly specialised services in each area, while benefiting from shared expertise and a unified approach.

2026: The Rebrand to Fusion Tech

With the integration complete and our direction clearly defined, 2026 marks the formal rebrand of KeyFort Ltd to Fusion Tech.

This is more than just a name change. It reflects a modern, forward-looking identity that better represents our capabilities and ambitions. It also brings the two businesses closer together under a single, unified Fusion brand, strengthening our position in the market.
